Transform the district
Enhance the Visual Identity of the Creative District’s Public Spaces and Infrastructure.
Time Frame: Year 2 - 5+
launch ArtrAIL
McCook is a hidden gem on Amtrak’s California Zephyr route. Our central location between Lincoln and Denver offers untapped potential.
Time Frame: Year 2-5+
Introducing ArtRail: a project that not only brings art lovers to our community but invites artists of all kinds to experience McCook.
The ArtRail Experience – A 48-hour arts immersion for visitors arriving by train.
Artist-in-Residence Program – Creatives travel by rail, live and work in McCook for two weeks, and showcase their work in a community exhibit.
